Benvenuto Finambolic - insurtech edition

Robots, IoT and insurance

Interesting take from Accenture on robotic insurance, or robo-insurance-advisors. Check the survey, it shows to me how far is the audience, although rpofessional, from the reality of what an industry  is ready to serve and acieve today. IoT is fascinating, but there's so mach that basic execution can do today, before wearing a gadget... point is probably, are the dominating insurers ready to do that, and how?

"Unusual audiences"

This is one of the most inspirational video on leadership I've seen recently. Make sur eyou see it all.

Watch the Blur and Gorillaz frontman perform four songs as Otonaroid®, a lifelike female android, moves her body and hums along to the lyrics. Albarn also explains how technology influenced the creation of his acclaimed solo album debut, Everyday Robots.

Jack Ma: In 30 years, the best CEO could be a robot

Inspiration from one of the greatest leaders: Jack Ma.

"In 30 years, a robot will likely be on the cover of Time Magazine as the best CEO," Ma said in a speech over the weekend at an entrepreneurship conference in central China. And he warned of dark times ahead for people who are unprepared for the upheaval technology is set to bring."
